Wedding Catering and Hog Roasts -The Whole Hog Menu

If you are considering a Hog Roast for your wedding or special occasion we know our Hog Roast menu, which uses locally sourced meats, will whet your appetite!

Please read through our menu below, once you have decided what you want for your Hogroast, please request a quotation for your Hog Roast and we'll be able to get back to you with a price for your event.

Whole Pig Traditionally spit roasted for 7-8 hours and salted to produce the crispiest crackling. Suitable for 100 people.	£500.00
Extra Loin We offer extra loins of pork to cook alongside the whole pig should you have a few extra numbers. This can be an economic way of providing more meat without the cost of an additional pig. They will feed approx 20 people.	£35.00
Leg and loins This could be called half a pig, still cooked and presented in exactly the same way as a whole pig but feeding approximately 50 - 60 people.	£430.00
All of the above are available with an additional package of homemade apple sauce, fresh floury rolls, napkins and sage and onion stuffing at a cost of £40.00.
Spit Roast Chicken 32 Roast Chickens will feed approximately 60 people.	£350.00
Whole Lamb Traditionally spit roasted for 3-4 hours, our tender, local lambs will feed between 40-50 people. Extras: The spit roast lamb is available with mint sauce, fresh floury rolls and napkins at an additional cost of £40.00.	£400.00
Extra Legs We offer extra legs of lamb to add to your catering requirements, feeding approximately 20 people	£20.00 each
Mixed Meats This mixed roast consists of a rib of beef, 2 legs of lamb, a gammon, a leg of pork and a turkey breast. All spit roasted to provide something delicious for everyone! It will feed approximately 70 people. Extras: The mixed meats are available with accompaniments of fresh floury rolls, napkins, all the relevant condiments for £40.00.	£510.00
The above numbers are designed as a guide only to the feeding requirements. Prices are based on two members of staff cooking, carving and serving and included within the prices The spit roasting will begin at our premises and we will arrive at the venue approximately two hours before carve time.

Here are some menu suggestions but should you wish to have a tailor made menu we would be happy to cater for you.
BBQ Menu 1 Cumberland sausage,spare ribs,chicken kebabs,beefburgers	£8.00 per head
BBQ Menu 2 Lamb burger,cumberland sausage, caribbean pork steak,lemon and coriander chicken breast.	£8.25 per head
BBQ Menu 3 Cumberland sausage, minted lamb chop, garlic chicken breast, minute steak.	£8.50 per head
Vegetarian Menu Veg kebab, salmon steaks, skewered prawns	£6.50 per head

All of the above are subject to an additional cost of £150.00 for the hire of bbq plus two members of staff. Please enquire with specific requirements for ideas and a quote.
